
The above picture shows a 3D image of the Goyt Valley route. The route as described starts at the top left (yellow arrow) and proceeds clockwise around the red line.
The orange line that starts just below halfway up on the right hand side and travels slightly upwards to the left side is the infamous A537 (Cat and Fiddle) Macclesfield to Buxton Road. This is a great, well known, 7 mile (approx) climb out of Macclesfield. Just watch out for speeding motorists.
