How to build your own car

The car is a mid-engined, two seater. The main chassis is constructed from 50mm square tubing with the engine, an Alfa Sud driving the rear wheels. The suspension design was done using a computer program written in basic on a Sinclair Spectrum. The program calculates spring rates and also change of camber angle in both bump and roll. The body shell is constructed from glassfibre.
